Yesterday I went to the movies with Has, Abang and Pizan to watch 23:59. I prefer Sherlock Holmes actually but we somehow couldn't make it on time so 23:59 it was.
It's a Singaporean horror movie. They are all recruits who were going through National Service for 2 years in one island in Singapore. The movie started out with one recruit *Iforgothisname* who loves to tell ghost stories of the camp to other recruits. And there is another recruit, Tan who was so afraid of the stories and somehow he himself has mystical mystery that he has to suffer too. His best friend, Jeremy who doesn't believe in supernatural always convinces Tan that he is just having a wild imagination. Until then, during their final road march, Tan was found dead. Overwhelmed with guilt, Jeremy then have always dreamt of Tan, and slowly, the mystery began to unfold.
I know i know, the summary was blergh, but yeah that will somehow give you a bit of an idea about what the movies is all about. The storyline was quite nice, as compared to local horror movies which somehow have the same concept, this is rather new and interesting.
Miahahaha it's funny because I love to watch horror movies but I get scared watching them. I think I'm an expert in knowing when is the "I-almost-had-my-heartbeat-stopped" parts. And then I annoy those who sit beside me and ask, "What? What? What happened?"
LOL
